o        In addition, this year’s recipient is someone who was truly dedicated to his events, and spent numerous hours outside of designated practice time to improve.  He had a truly remarkable year and demonstrated an incredible amount of growth and improvement.

·         Chosen by coach

·         Not only a leader in speech and debate, but behind the scenes as well by helping coach with NFL points, paperwork, and registering for tournaments, not to mention numerous other tasks that were truly a “lifesaver”

 

Most Improved ~ Shelby Moore

·         Voted on by team

·         Throughout the year an incredible amount of improvement was demonstrated in placing at tournaments and overall quality of piece(s) or debate cases

·         The first year freshman or sophomore who achieved the most success throughout the year

 

National Qualifiers For NFL ~ Zack Eckerdt (Two time qualifier) Michelle Payler, Danyon Satterlee (Two time qualifier), Quincey Smith (Two time qualifier),

·         Designates students who qualified for the 2004 National Forensic League tournament in Dallas, Texas

·         To qualify, students must place 1st or 2nd in event at the end-of-year district tournament, or be the “next in line” if another student cannot go or has qualified in another event
